MANIC EXPRESSIVE!o! is a specular and fun stand up comedy (scheduled) open mic style event where writers/musicians+ (and more) push their envelopes and do a short, prepared 2 - 5 min, stand up comedy set.

We have a great line up of brave emerging/beginner stand up comedians including myself and Megan Haddock who is helping to bring this show together with me.

The space between Xmas and New Years can always be a bit sparse and even lonely.

Plan to take a cab or at least have a designated driver and spend the whole evening at the '98 with new/old friends and faces!

no tickets and please make a donation when you arrive. If you have found yourself laughing or crying then feel free to make another donation. All bucks go the comedians in the lineup:)

If you got present this year or 20 years ago that you want to regift then bring it along and we can make it a prize. Maybe you have something else you don't want but it happens to be super cool and could very well be another man's treasure, then bring that along too! But if junk is junk then please don't bring that. You'll have to take it back home with you!

Remember the first Manic Expressive!?

History: The 1st Edition of Manic Expressive! Organized by Kim Beggs and Paris Pick took place almost 6 years ago on Feb 1, 2019 at the Gold Pan Saloon to a full (and listening) house. You could hear every word each performer shared while standing up at the one mic on stage. It was so amazing to hear artists show another side of themselves.
